Kandla, formally Deendayal Port, is one of India's highest-tonnage ports, working petroleum products, edible oils, fertiliser, salt and general cargo from a sheltered position deep in the Gulf of Kutch. Its tidal range is among the largest on the Indian coast.

- Liquid cargo jetties operate separately from the dry cargo docks, with their own access controls.
- Gandhidham nearby provides the only substantial local supply market in the Gulf of Kutch.
How we supply Kandla
The hub for our Gulf of Kutch coverage: Navlakhi, Sikka and Vadinar are all planned off this movement rather than each being reached on its own. In August and September 2026 we supplied provisions, bonded stores and deck, engine and electrical stores to vessels here, one September requisition alone running to whole chicken, boneless mutton, kingfish and mahi mahi fillets.

Yes. Anchorage deliveries go by boat, subject to weather and port clearance; jetty deliveries follow the terminal's vehicle-access rules, agreed with the agent before dispatch.
Can one order cover provisions, bonded and technical stores?
Yes. One requisition can cover provisions, bonded stores and deck, engine and electrical stores, delivered together.
How much notice do you need at Kandla?
24 to 48 hours for normal requirements; earlier for technical or special items. Berthing windows here are fixed by the tide, so send the ETA and berth as soon as they are known.
