How do I order ship stores for a call in India?
Send the requisition with vessel name, port, ETA and berth or anchorage, and IMPA or ISSA codes where a line carries one. Every line is quoted, and the operations desk answers 24 hours.
We manage ships from Greece. Can you quote in US dollars?
Yes. Quotes are in USD or INR, for ship managers in Greece, Singapore or anywhere else. Payment terms are agreed per account.
How quickly do you quote?
Within 4 hours, at any hour: the operations desk works around the clock, so the time difference with Piraeus or Singapore does not hold a quote up.
Do you supply bonded stores to foreign-going vessels?
Yes. Bonded and duty-free stores for a foreign-going vessel move against a stores shipping bill filed with Indian Customs. Plan on one to two working days, and longer where the call spans a public holiday.
Is GST charged on supplies to foreign-going vessels?
Supply to a foreign-going vessel is zero-rated for GST against valid export documentation. A2Z issues that documentation with the invoice, so the exemption is evidenced rather than asserted.
