Ennore, formally Kamarajar Port, sits just north of Chennai and was built as a dedicated coal terminal before widening into LNG, automobiles and general bulk. Its proximity to our Chennai store makes it one of the few ports where a same-day addition to a requisition is genuinely realistic.
Working Ennore (Kamarajar)
- Coal, LNG, liquid cargo, container and automobile terminals each run their own safety and access rules, and driver and helper details go in before the day.
- Vessels at the outer anchorage are supplied by launch, planned ahead of their berth window; allow 24 to 48 hours.
- Ro-Ro and automobile berths run to tight vessel schedules with little slack for a late delivery.
- Close enough to Chennai to be worked from the same store on the same day.
